What’s the role?

At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing extraordinary support to our business partners by providing data driven insights on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.

The Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Finance Transformation delivers various FP&A process re-engineering solutions to ensure better management reporting, financial analysis, & decision support to the senior decision makers at the firm.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Investigate and analyze current FP&A process such as the Capital and Allocation process and implement process change

  • Be curious in the data and ensure the appropriate integrity in all processes

  • Solution reporting transformation ideas and execute cross-functionally (Finance IT Team, etc.)

  • Assume a lead role in working with various project teams within FP&A

  • Propose processes to be re-engineered and drive those efforts to completion

  • Independently handle conversations with the Business Finance team and other senior stakeholders throughout the organization

You’ll need to have:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Finance (extensive FP&A experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Deep understanding of FP&A processes including allocations

  • Experience in Capital/Real Estate Planning and Reporting Transformation (automation, systemization, etc.)

  • Proven senior stakeholder, interpersonal communication and change management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail, applying analytical thinking to process re-engineering to ensure end-to-end workflow and functionality

  • Strong sense of ownership and leadership

We’d love to see:

  • CPA is a plus

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude

  • Flexible self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fluid environment

  • Thoughtfulness around knowing your audience and providing various options and sensitivities

  • Ability to be responsive and act with a sense of urgency

Salary Range: 155,000 - 205,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
